About Fuelr
Fuelr is a free UK fuel price comparison service. We help drivers find the cheapest petrol and diesel stations near them using live, official government data.
Our Mission
Fuel is one of the biggest household motoring costs in the UK. Yet prices at the pump can vary by 10p or more per litre between stations just a mile apart. Fuelr exists to put that information in your hands — for free, in seconds, without needing an account.
We believe drivers should be able to make informed decisions at the forecourt. A full tank of diesel at the cheapest local station vs the most expensive can be a £6–£12 difference — every fill-up. Over a year, that adds up.
How It Works
Live government data
Fuel price data is sourced directly from the UK Government's Fuel Finder dataset, which all forecourt operators with more than 5 sites are legally required to submit daily. Prices are refreshed every 12 hours.
Search by postcode or location
Enter your postcode or share your location and Fuelr instantly shows you the cheapest nearby stations, sorted by price. Filter by fuel type, brand, or radius.
Compare and save
See prices across 6,000+ UK stations from supermarkets (Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's) to branded forecourts (BP, Shell, Esso). Set price alerts to be notified when local prices drop.
Data Source
All fuel prices on Fuelr come from the UK Government Fuel Finder dataset, maintained by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). This is the same data that powers the government's own fuel finder tool. Prices are submitted by forecourt operators and reflect actual pump prices.
Station locations are verified against postcode data. Prices displayed are in pence per litre (p/l) and include VAT. Coverage includes E10 (Unleaded), E5 (Super Unleaded), B7 (Diesel), and SDV (Super Diesel) where reported.

Free to Use
Fuelr is completely free to use. No account required to search fuel prices. We keep the lights on through advertising and affiliate partnerships with motoring services (car insurance, breakdown cover, fuel cards). We only link to products we believe are genuinely useful to drivers.
